1. Who we are

Cravd is a platform that connects you with skilled home chefs for personalized meal preparation in your own home. Our chefs are independent contractors who work directly with you through our service.

2. What we offer

When you sign up with Cravd, you’ll select a subscription plan based on the number of visits you want per month. Our chefs will visit your home, prepare meals tailored to your preferences, and leave your kitchen clean and organized.

3. Screening and qualifications

To ensure a safe and high-quality experience, we screen all chefs before they join the platform. This includes:

  • A background check
  • A trial cooking session
  • Verification of food handling certification While we take these steps, we cannot guarantee perfection and recommend that you report any concerns immediately.

4. Your responsibilities

To ensure a great experience, here’s what we need from you:

  • Provide a safe and clean working environment for your chef.
  • Clearly communicate any dietary preferences, allergies, or restrictions.
  • Ensure that the necessary kitchen tools and ingredients (if applicable) are available, unless otherwise agreed upon.

6. Opt-out provisions

You may opt out of your subscription at any time by providing written notice to Cravd. Termination requests must be submitted at least 7 days before the next billing cycle to avoid additional charges.

Both chefs and customers are accountable for maintaining the quality and integrity of the Cravd experience. Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information during onboarding.
  • Reporting any issues promptly to Cravd support. Chefs are expected to uphold professional and hygienic standards at all times.

8. Acceptable usage

Use of the Cravd platform is subject to the following guidelines:

  • Do not engage in any illegal, abusive, or disruptive behavior.
  • Respect the privacy and boundaries of chefs and other users.
  • The platform may not be used to arrange services outside of Cravd. Violations may result in immediate termination of service.

9. Liability provisions

While we prioritize safety and quality, Cravd is not liable for:

  • Any damages, injuries, or losses occurring during or after a chef’s visit.
  • Errors, omissions, or delays caused by independent chefs. By using our service, you agree to release Cravd from liability to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We take your privacy seriously. Your personal information is used solely for providing our services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent. Please review our Privacy Policy for more details.

11. Right to termination

Cravd reserves the right to terminate services or subscriptions at our discretion, including but not limited to cases of misuse, non-payment, or breach of these terms. Customers will be notified of termination and any applicable refunds will be processed in accordance with our policy.
